pilot Nuremberg
Designing a modern and customized workspace in a historical context requires not only craftsmanship, but also a great deal of sensitivity for preserving the building's cultural heritage. As with our previous projects for the media agency pilot, the same principle applied to the location in Nuremberg: Each office is as unique as the team, making each location a one-of-a-kind experience.
Sensitivity and competence: Workplace design in a historic villa
The Gerling Villa in Nuremberg, where the agency is located, was built in 1895 for the Turkish honorary consul and is an important historical building. Dealing with the issue of historic preservation and the unfamiliar building structure required a great deal of sensitivity and expertise.
We developed a comprehensive concept for 40 workstations, including interior design and furnishing, lease negotiations and tenant planning, as well as project management for the expansion of the space, including coordination of all necessary trades. Our focus was always on preserving the historic charm of the space while meeting the demands of modern office work. This included optimizing the existing building structure while delivering a high-quality design within the budget constraints and giving employees the appreciation they deserve.
Creating an iconic office as a meeting place
To meet these high demands, we developed a concept for a beautiful new work environment that meets both the aesthetic and functional needs of the agency. A custom carpentry and lighting concept ensures that modern elements blend harmoniously with the historic ambiance. We paid special attention to the communicative areas, a terrace and a barbecue area to bring employees back into the office and provide them with a space for socializing as well as an attractive environment for client meetings.
