Berlin: neotares supports the expansion of the Delivery Hero Campus with forward-looking New Work ideas
Frankfurt am Main/Berlin, 26th September 2024 - neotares, one of the leading management consultancies for the design of new working environments, has implemented a comprehensive New Work workplace concept for Delivery Hero, the world’s leading local delivery platform. The completion of the office space in the former Haupttelegraphenamt (HTA) in Berlin marked the achievement of the final milestone for the Delivery Hero Campus. In the listed building, Delivery Hero is creating a creative and individual working environment for around 3,500 employees in a rental area of around 16,750 m². This summer, the M-DAX-listed company was able to move into the final office space at Oranienburger Straße 73–76.
neotares was commissioned by Delivery Hero to build an innovative workplace by expanding Fernsprechamt and Torhaus West in 2014, and Torhaus Ost in 2018/2019. Due to the close proximity of the space in the Haupttelegraphenamt to the Fernsprechamt and Torhaus Ost, which have already been occupied, the new wing now forms the final building block of the Delivery Hero Campus.
The vision for the new concept was to create a modern workplace that meets the requirements of a global company while also reflecting Delivery Hero's corporate culture. Accessibility and flexibility were main cornerstones of the project from the outset.
The tasks of neotares included, among other things, negotiations with contractors, tendering procedures, representation of the landlord and user, project management, planning of new furniture and implementation of the workplace concept.
neotares implemented a workplace concept that is as diverse as Delivery Hero itself: flexible workspace, multi-space solutions and desk sharing characterize the concept. The focus is therefore on an office environment that enables creative and focused work while promoting personal development. Around 500 workplaces and over 200 alternative work options, divided into different neighborhood zones, are complemented by innovative acoustic and lighting concepts as well as flexible furniture.
